A catalog for lighting distributors, with the decorative line switched on
Show retailers, installers and customers the decorative side of your catalog, with every lamp in a room by day and at night with the light on.

In short
A catalog for lighting distributors has to be easy to search, keep prices current and present the decorative line well. Lucy covers that part. Every table, floor, ceiling or wall lamp appears in a room by day and lit at night, with search, WhatsApp enquiries and bulk price increases, for US$20 a month.
Typical problems for a lighting distributor
Thousands of SKUs, few useful images
A spreadsheet price list is fine for quoting and poor for choosing. With decorative lamps the customer needs to see the product, and a row with a code and a price does not show it.
Every brand shoots differently
Each supplier sends images with a different background, light and framing. The catalog looks uneven, and models from different brands are hard to compare.
Price lists expire
Suppliers update prices on different dates, and last week's list is already wrong. Every quote means double-checking the number before it goes out.
Retailers sell what is hanging
The stores you supply cannot display everything. Without a lit image to show their customer, they offer what is in front of them and the rest of your line sits.
How a distributor gets started with Lucy
- 1
Choose what to show
Lucy works best with decorative table, floor, ceiling and wall lamps. Technical products such as bulbs, drivers or LED strips are better left in your usual list.
- 2
Subscribe and send the catalog
Start the US$20 monthly plan and share photos, names, codes, dimensions and prices for the lamps you picked.
- 3
The Lucy team loads them
Every lamp gets its day scene and its night scene with the light on. If you use one or two styles across the catalog, different brands look consistent.
- 4
Share it with your accounts
Send the address to retailers and installers, add it to your quotes and use the QR code and TV mode at the counter.
What a catalog for lighting distributors needs
A distributor lives on fast answers. The catalog has to let people find a product in seconds, show a current price and help decide when a customer is torn between two models.
In Lucy, search looks at product names, descriptions and lamp types. There is no dedicated field for the product code, so put it in the name or at the start of the description, along with the brand. That way, whoever types the code or the name lands on the lamp and sees it by day and lit.
Current prices across several brands
Each product has a price in Argentine pesos or US dollars, or none if you prefer to quote separately. The bulk adjustment applies the same percentage increase to every product with a price. When only one brand goes up, edit those products from the dashboard and leave the rest alone.
There is one price per product. If you work with wholesale and list prices, choose which one to publish, or publish neither and keep the wholesale list in your usual channel.
Where Lucy fits in a distribution business and where it does not
Lucy does not replace your ERP or your technical price list. It does not handle stock, orders, customer accounts or volume discounts. It is a public showroom at one address, and it works best as the shop window for your decorative line, the part that sells on looks.
If you also serve walk-in customers, add the QR code at the counter and TV mode on a screen. Analytics show which lamps get the most views, which helps when deciding what to order from each supplier.
Frequently asked questions
Can I load lamps from several brands?
Yes. Products are unlimited and each lamp has a name, description, dimensions and price. Put the brand in the name or description so search picks it up. The catalog appears as one, under your company's name and logo.
Does it work for bulbs, LED strips or drivers?
It is not what Lucy does best. It is built for table, floor, ceiling and wall lamps, which people choose by how they look when lit. Technical products are chosen by spec, and your price list or data sheet remains the better tool for them.
Will retailers see my wholesale prices?
They see whatever price you enter, because the showroom is public and has no password-protected area. If you do not want to show wholesale, enter the list price or leave the price blank, and keep sending the wholesale list through your current channel.
Can I lower prices with the bulk adjustment?
No. The bulk adjustment applies percentage increases to the whole catalog. Price cuts and one-off changes, such as a promotion on a single brand, are made by editing each product from the dashboard, without touching the rest.
What does it cost a distributor?
US$20 a month, the same plan as any store. Products are unlimited and there are no charges per image, so a large catalog costs the same as a small one. The Lucy team handles the initial load, and you can cancel anytime.
